National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the examination dates for JEE (Main) Session II 2025. Engineering aspirants can check the complete schedule at jeemain.nta.nic.in and prepare accordingly.

Note: Candidates who missed Session I or wish to improve their scores can apply for Session II. The better of two scores will be considered for ranking.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit:

There is no age restriction for appearing in JEE (Main) 2025.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have:

  • Passed Class 12 or equivalent in 2023/2024
  • OR appearing in Class 12 in 2025
  • Subjects: Must have studied Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject
Note: For B.Arch programs, Mathematics with 50% marks is mandatory. For B.Planning, Mathematics with 50% marks is required.

Exam Pattern

Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech):

  • Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
  • Total Questions: 90 (30 per subject)
  • Marking Scheme: +4 for correct, -1 for incorrect
  • Mode: Computer Based Test

Paper 2A (B.Arch):

  • Subjects: Mathematics, Aptitude, Drawing
  • Total Questions: 82
  • Mode: Mathematics & Aptitude (CBT), Drawing (Pen & Paper)
Important: Candidates can appear for maximum two papers (Paper 1 with either Paper 2A or 2B) in one session.
